Demetric Felton Jr. (born July 16, 1998) is an American professional football player. He is a running back for the Washington Commanders in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the UCLA Bruins. The Cleveland Browns chose him in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL draft.

Early Life and High School Football

Demetric Felton Jr. grew up in Temecula, California. He went to Great Oak High School. During his senior year, he was a star player. He ran for 1,347 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. After high school, he decided to play college football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

College Football Career

Felton started his college career at UCLA in 2016. He took a "redshirt" year, which means he practiced with the team but didn't play in games. This allowed him to gain experience without using up a year of his playing eligibility.

In 2017, he played in 12 games. He ran for 75 yards and scored one touchdown. In 2018, he played as a wide receiver. He started eight of 12 games, catching 20 passes for 207 yards and one touchdown. In 2019, he continued to show his skills. He ran for 331 yards and caught 55 passes for 594 yards, scoring a total of five touchdowns.

In 2020, Felton became UCLA's main running back. He had an amazing game against Arizona, running for 206 yards. He finished the season as one of the top rushers in the Pac-12 Conference. He was also named to the second-team All-Pac-12 team.

Moving to Other Teams

After leaving the Browns, Felton joined the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad in August 2023. His contract with them ended in January 2024.

In July 2024, he signed with the Chicago Bears for a short time. He was then claimed by the Indianapolis Colts in August 2024, but was later released. He returned to the Chicago Bears' practice squad in December 2024.
