Desmon Kenyatta Farmer was born on October 7, 1981. He is an American former professional basketball player. He played for a short time in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was part of the Seattle SuperSonics and the San Antonio Spurs teams.

College Basketball Career
Desmon Farmer went to college at the University of Southern California (USC). He played basketball there for his college team. In his last two years, he was a top player. He scored about 19 points in each game. He also grabbed almost five rebounds per game. He finished college in 2004.
Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Desmon Farmer started his professional basketball career. In 2004, he was signed by the Indiana Pacers in the NBA. However, he was cut from the team before the season began.
Playing Overseas
Farmer then played basketball in other countries. He played in Greece, Belgium, and Poland. These experiences helped him grow as a player.
Back in the U.S.
In 2005–06, Farmer returned to the U.S. He joined the NBA Development League (now called the G-League). He played for the Tulsa 66ers. He averaged 16.4 points per game there.
NBA Opportunities
In October 2006, the Seattle SuperSonics signed Farmer. He played in eight games during the 2006–07 NBA season. He was later waived in January 2007.
After playing for the 66ers and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the D-League, he also spent some time in Puerto Rico. He played for the Atléticos de San Germán.
On September 18, 2008, Farmer got another chance in the NBA. He was signed by the San Antonio Spurs. He played a few games for them. On November 16, he was waived to make space for another player.
More Teams and Travels
After his time with the Spurs, Farmer continued his career. He played in Croatia for KK Zadar. In November 2009, he signed with the Reno Bighorns.
On October 1, 2010, Farmer joined Ironi Ashkelon. He later rejoined the Reno Bighorns on January 31, 2013. In 2015, he signed with Sigal Prishtina in Kosovo. He also played for Guaiqueríes de Margarita that same year.
