The Diablo Valley is a special area in the East Bay part of the San Francisco Bay Area in California. It's located to the west and northwest of a famous mountain called Mount Diablo. This valley is home to several cities and towns, making it a lively place where many people live.

The Diablo Valley is a beautiful area known for its connection to Mount Diablo. This mountain is a major landmark in the region. The valley itself is a lowland area between hills or mountains.
Cities and Communities
Several cities and communities are found within the Diablo Valley. These include:
- Clayton
- Concord
- Martinez
- Pleasant Hill, which is also home to Diablo Valley College
- Most of Walnut Creek, though its southern part is in the nearby San Ramon Valley
- Pacheco, which is a Census-designated place (CDP). A CDP is like a town that isn't officially a city, but the government still counts its population.
People and Surroundings
The Diablo Valley is a place where people from many different backgrounds live. This makes the community very interesting and diverse. West of the valley, you can find Briones Regional Park, a large park perfect for hiking and enjoying nature. The Lamorinda area is also nearby.
