Dil Se (which means From the Heart) is a Hindi movie from 1998. It was directed by Mani Ratnam. The movie was also released in Tamil as Uyire and in Telugu as Prema Tho. It stars famous actors like Shahrukh Khan, Manisha Koirala, and Preity Zinta.
Mani Ratnam also wrote the story and script for the movie. He produced it along with Ram Gopal Varma and Shekhar Kapur. The movie was filmed in many beautiful places. These included Kashmir, Assam, Delhi, and other parts of India, plus Bhutan. They shot the whole movie in just 55 days!
