Her big break came when she took over as choreographer for the film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992). After this, she created many famous dance numbers. She met actor Shahrukh Khan while working on Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994). They became good friends and have worked together on many projects.
