Dima is a small town and a municipality located in the Basque Country, a region in northern Spain. It's part of the Biscay province. Dima is also part of a larger area called the comarca of Arratia-Nerbioi. In 2018, about 1,447 people lived in Dima. People from Dima are called Dimoztarra.

Where is Dima Located?
Dima is found in the south of the Biscay province, which is in northern Spain. It's nestled within the Arratia-Nerbioi region. The town is surrounded by other municipalities like Igorre and Amorebieta-Etxano to the north, and Durango to the northeast. To the east, you'll find Mañaria, and to the southeast, Abadiño. South of Dima are Otxandio and Ubide, while to the west are Zeanuri, Areatza, Artea, and Arantzazu.
Natural Beauty and History in Dima
A special part of Dima is located inside the Urkiola Natural Park. This park is a beautiful area with lots of nature to explore. Close by, you can also find the Axlor archaeological site. This is a very interesting place where scientists have found old things from the past, helping us learn about ancient times.
How to Get Around Dima
Dima is mainly reached by road. The BI-3543 road connects Dima to nearby towns like Igorre and Otxandio. If you don't have a car, you can use the Bizkaibus public bus service. Line A3925 has several stops in Dima. This bus line connects Dima to bigger towns like Otxandio, Lemoa, Galdakao, and even Bilbao, which is the capital city of the province. Buses run every hour in both directions, making it easy to travel to and from Dima.
