What the Show is About
This show asks a cool question: What if dinosaurs never died out? What if they kept evolving and became super smart? The story takes place at a summer camp called Dinosaur Explorer Camp in Canada. Dr. Hillary Slayton lives there with her daughter, Lauren.
Lauren's dad, Alan, disappeared while looking for fossils in the Badlands. Lauren is still sad about him. One day, she meets an evolved dinosaur. She is the first human to ever meet one! As the show goes on, Lauren makes new friends. She also learns more about dinosaurs and what happened to her father. Dr. Slayton becomes friends with Dr. Aikens, who later turns out to be a villain.

The Dinosaurs
Eno is a friendly teenage dinosaur. He is about 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. He has pale green skin with red and yellow stripes. He also has feathers on his head and tail, like human hair! Eno's eyes look like a hawk's, and he has a short snout. Lauren figures out that Eno's kind evolved from a dinosaur called Dromaeosaurus.
Eno is very smart. He can copy words and use them almost correctly, like a parrot. But his grammar is like a four-year-old's! He makes squawking sounds, like a bird. Eno is very sensitive to loud, high-pitched noises. These sounds can scare him away. He also likes to climb trees to hide. Eno seems to eat both hot dogs and leaves, so he might eat everything (be omnivorous).
The Diggers are two other dinosaurs. They walk on two legs and look a bit goofy. They are a mix between a Prenocephale and a Pinacosaurus. They have tiny arms, like a T. rex. Danny and Nelson call their species "Ornithosapien." The Diggers eat insects.
These two are Eno's enemies. They chase him and everyone else. They seem pretty evil! The Diggers can also make and use tools. But they have a weakness: very bright lights can stop them for a short time. Lauren calls them Green Eyes (the male) and Cerepta (the female). It's thought they might have died in the last episode. But since Dr. Aikens survived, they might have too! Cerepta is the female and the leader, which might mean females are in charge in their species.
