Dominique Hannah Jackson (born 3 December 1991) is a talented British actress. She is well-known for playing the character Lauren Valentine in the TV show Hollyoaks, which is a popular soap opera on Channel 4.

Early Life and School
Dominique grew up in Oldham, England. She went to the Radclyffe School in Chadderton. When she finished school, she had earned 9 GCSEs, which are important school qualifications in the UK.
Dominique's Acting Career
Dominique started acting at a young age and has been in many different TV shows and plays.
First Big Roles
Her first major acting job was in a TV drama called Buried Treasure. She played a character named Saffron. This show was very popular and even won a BAFTA award! Dominique also performed in a big theatre show in London's West End. She played "Molly" in the musical Annie at the Victoria Palace in 1998. She acted alongside famous TV star Paul O'Grady.
Kids' TV Shows and More
Dominique became well-known for her role as Becky in the kids' TV series Becky and Barnaby Bear. As she grew up, she appeared in many other shows. These included The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Casualty, and Doctors. She also had roles in UGetMe, Welcome to Orty Fou, Conviction, and Little Britain.
In 2003, she played Joanna Sharpe in The Bill. Later, in 2005, she was Roseanne Speedwell in The New Worst Witch. In 2006, she appeared as Selena in the hit children's TV show My Parents Are Aliens.
Popular TV Dramas
Dominique was chosen to play Lauren Valentine in the Channel 4 soap opera, Hollyoaks. After that, she played Evie Prior in another popular TV series called Waterloo Road. She also appeared in an episode of The Body Farm as Natasha Collins.
In 2013, Dominique got the part of Vee in an ITV drama. This show, called The Ice Cream Girls, was based on a book by Dorothy Koomson. It was filmed in Ireland. Later that year, she played Morgan McDonald in the series Moving On. Dominique also appeared in Holby City for two episodes, playing Chelsey Corman.
Recent Work
Dominique performed in a play called Only A Day at The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. In March 2021, she returned to the BBC soap opera Doctors. She played a new character named Sophie Herron. More recently, Dominique has been performing in live dance shows called ‘Berlin Berlin’ in Germany.
