The Double Decker is a yummy chocolate bar made by Cadbury. It first came out in the UK in 1976. Its name comes from the famous double-decker bus. You might even see these buses in old ads for the chocolate! This bar is a mix of milk chocolate, soft nougat, and crunchy cereal. It's a very popular treat!

What's Inside a Double Decker?
A Double Decker chocolate bar has two main layers. The top layer is a light and fluffy nougat. The bottom layer is full of crispy cereal pieces. All of this is covered in smooth milk chocolate.
When the bar first came out, it also had raisins in the bottom layer. But in the mid-1980s, Cadbury changed the recipe. They took out the raisins to make it the bar we know today.
How Big Are They?
A regular Double Decker bar usually weighs about 54.5 grams. If you buy a multipack, the bars are a bit smaller, around 40 grams each. Over the years, the size of the bar has changed a few times. It started smaller, grew bigger, and then settled at its current weight.
This chocolate bar is made in Poland. It's a popular snack enjoyed by many people.

Cadbury has tried a few different versions of the Double Decker.
Double Decker Nuts
In 2004, they launched a special bar called 'Double Decker – Nuts'. This bar was just like the original, but it had nuts mixed into the nougat layer. Its slogan was "crispy, crunchy, chewy and nutty." This nutty version was made especially for guys. However, it's not made anymore.
Dinky Deckers
In August 2016, Cadbury released Dinky Deckers. These are mini versions of the Double Decker bar. You can find them in a 120-gram pouch bag. They are perfect for sharing or for a smaller treat!
