Geography

Where is Dover Hill Located?

Dover Hill is found right in the middle of Martin County. A road called Indiana Highway 450 runs through the community. If you travel south on this highway for about 4 miles, you will reach Shoals, which is the main town and county seat of Martin County. Going northeast for about 23 miles will take you to Bedford.

The community sits on a narrow ridge. This is like a long, raised piece of land. Water from this ridge flows into different creeks. These creeks include Dover Run, Pass Creek, Branch Run, and Beech Creek. All these creeks eventually flow into the East Fork of the White River. The White River itself passes about 1 mile east of Dover Hill.
