Dušan Vlahović (Serbian Cyrillic: Душан Влаховић; born on January 28, 2000) is a talented football player from Serbia. He plays as a forward for the Italian club Juventus and also for the Serbian national team.
Dušan started his football journey in the youth system of Partizan in Serbia. He made his first team debut in 2016. While playing for Partizan, he helped them win a league title and two Serbian Cups. In 2018, he moved to Italy to play for Fiorentina. During the 2020–21 Serie A season, he scored 21 goals in the league. Because of his amazing performance, he was named the Serie A Best Young Player. After scoring many goals in the first half of the 2021–22 season, he joined Juventus in January 2022.
Vlahović also played for Serbia's youth teams before joining the senior national team in 2020. He played in the UEFA Nations League for his country.

Club Career
Early Days
Dušan Vlahović was born in Belgrade, Serbia. He began playing football at the Altina Zemun football school. There, he often played against older kids. Soon after, he joined the youth system of OFK Beograd for a few months. He also played one game for Red Star Belgrade.
Playing for Partizan
In the summer of 2014, Vlahović joined Partizan, a rival club. He signed his first professional contract with Partizan in 2015 when he was just 15 years old. In early 2016, he joined the main team and was given the number 9 jersey. On February 21, he played his first game in the Serbian SuperLiga against OFK Beograd. This made him the youngest player ever to debut for Partizan.
On April 2, Dušan scored his first goal for Partizan in a 3–2 win against Radnik Surdulica. This made him the youngest goal scorer in the club's history. He also scored in a cup semi-final match. Many big European teams, like Arsenal and Juventus, were interested in him, but Partizan did not let him leave. Vlahović scored a goal in the 2015–16 Serbian Cup final, helping his team win the cup.
He made his European debut for Partizan on July 21, 2016, in a Europa League qualifying match.
Time at Fiorentina
First Seasons and Growing Stronger
In June 2017, Vlahović signed a deal to join Fiorentina in Italy. This deal became official on his 18th birthday, January 28, 2018. He officially joined Fiorentina on February 22, 2018, and chose to wear the number 18 jersey. He could not play until July 1, 2018, due to rules.
Dušan first played for Fiorentina's youth team. At 18, he made his first team debut on September 25, 2018, in a Serie A game against Inter Milan. He was the first player born in the 2000s to play for the club. He played 10 games for the first team in the 2018–19 season. That season, he also helped Fiorentina's youth team win the Coppa Italia Primavera cup.
In the next season, Vlahović became a regular player for the first team. On August 18, 2019, he scored his first two goals for Fiorentina in a cup game against Monza. His first league goals came on November 10, when he scored twice against Cagliari. He finished that season with eight goals in 34 games.
Becoming a Star and Best Young Player
In the 2020–21 season, Vlahović started more games. On December 22, 2020, he scored a goal in Fiorentina's 3–0 win against Juventus in Turin. This was Fiorentina's first win at Juventus' home in 12 years. On March 13, 2021, Vlahović scored his first hat-trick (three goals in one game) in a 4–1 win against Benevento. He ended the year with 21 goals and was named the Serie A Best Young Player.
Vlahović started the 2021–22 season by scoring two goals in a 4–0 cup win. On October 31, 2021, he scored another hat-trick against Spezia. By December 19, 2021, Vlahović had scored 33 Serie A goals in that calendar year. He was only the second player, after Cristiano Ronaldo in 2020, to do this since 1951. He was also one of only two players born after 2000, along with Erling Haaland, to have scored at least 40 goals in Europe's top leagues.
Joining Juventus
On January 28, 2022, his 22nd birthday, Vlahović signed a contract with Juventus. He chose to wear the number 7 jersey, which Cristiano Ronaldo had worn before. He played his first game for Juventus on February 6, scoring the first goal in a 2–0 win against Hellas Verona. On February 22, Vlahović played his first game in the UEFA Champions League. He scored a goal after only 33 seconds, making him one of the fastest debut scorers in the Champions League for Juventus. A few days later, he scored two goals for Juventus in a 3–2 win against Empoli.
On April 16, Vlahović became the second-youngest non-Italian player to score 50 goals in Serie A. On May 11, he scored a goal in the 2022 Coppa Italia Final against Inter, but Juventus lost the match. Despite the loss, Vlahović was the top scorer in the competition with four goals. On July 1, Vlahović changed his jersey number from 7 to 9. On August 15, he scored two goals in Juventus' first league game of the 2022–23 season. He helped Juventus win their first trophy with him on May 15, 2024, scoring the only goal in a 1–0 victory over Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final.
International Career
Youth Teams
Vlahović played for Serbia's national youth teams. He was part of the under-15 team and scored three goals in a game against the Czech Republic in 2015. He also played for the under-16 and under-19 teams. In an under-19 tournament, he scored a goal against France and was named the most talented player.
Senior Team
On October 11, 2020, Vlahović made his debut for the Serbian senior team in a UEFA Nations League game. On November 18 of the same year, he scored his first goal for Serbia in a 5–0 win against Russia.
In 2021, Vlahović scored four goals for his national team, including two against Azerbaijan. These goals were very important as Serbia qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup by finishing ahead of Portugal. In November 2022, Vlahović was chosen for Serbia's team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He played in games against Brazil and Switzerland, scoring against Switzerland. He also played in all three group stage matches for Serbia in the UEFA Euro 2024.

Vlahović is a strong and skilled forward. He is known for his physical strength, good technique, and ability to score goals. He is great at getting the ball in the middle of the field and keeping it. He uses his strength to hold off defenders and can dribble past them.
He is very good at carrying the ball and uses his strength to keep possession. Vlahović can attract defenders, which creates space for his teammates or for himself to move into.
