Dubravko Pavličić was a Croatian footballer, born on November 28, 1967. He was a strong central defender, known for his skills on the field. He played for several clubs and also represented his country, Croatia, in international matches. Sadly, he passed away on April 4, 2012.

Club Career
Dubravko Pavličić started his professional football journey in his hometown of Zagreb, which is now in Croatia. He began playing for a local team called NK Dinamo. After three seasons there, he became a top player with NK Rijeka.
While playing for Rijeka, he helped the team achieve good results in the new Croatian First Football League. In 1994, he even scored the only goal for his team in the final of the Croatian Cup.
In the summer of 1994, Dubravko moved to Spain. He joined a team called Hércules CF. In his second year with Hércules, they won promotion to La Liga, which is Spain's top football league. He had a great season, scoring six goals in 38 games. He even scored against famous club FC Barcelona twice!
After Hércules, he played for UD Salamanca in La Liga. Later, in 2000, he joined Racing de Ferrol in the second division. He retired from professional football at the end of that season. After retiring, he stayed in Spain and even played amateur football for a club called Sporting Plaza.
International Career
Dubravko Pavličić played for the Croatian national team for five years. He played in 22 international matches for his country. His first game for Croatia was in July 1992 against Australia.
He was also part of the Croatian squad that played in the UEFA Euro 1996 tournament. He played in two group stage games during that competition.
Before playing for the senior Croatian team, Dubravko was a key member of the talented Yugoslavia under-20 team. This team won the 1987 FIFA World Youth Championship in Chile. Dubravko played in every game during that championship, helping his team win the gold medal.
Death
Dubravko Pavličić passed away on April 4, 2012, in Elche, Spain. He was 44 years old and died from pancreatic cancer.
