Duchess is a small village located in southern Alberta, Canada. It is surrounded by the County of Newell. You can find it north of the town of Brooks and the major Trans-Canada Highway.
The village was given its name in honor of Duchess Louise Marguerite. Duchess is mostly known as a ranching community, where people raise livestock like cattle.
