Dutch Lake is a beautiful lake located in the state of Minnesota, United States. It got its name because many early settlers from Germany lived nearby.

This lake covers about 160 acres (65 hectares). You can find it west of Minneapolis-St. Paul, near the towns of Mound and Minnetrista. Dutch Lake is about 15 feet (4.6 meters) deep on average. However, some parts of the lake go down to 45 feet (14 meters)!

Water flows out of Dutch Lake through a stream called Slow Creek. This creek is not easy to travel on, but it connects Dutch Lake to the much larger Lake Minnetonka.

Dutch Lake is home to many different kinds of fish. If you go fishing there, you might find several types of fish.

A large part of the northern shore of Dutch Lake is owned by Camp Christmas Tree. This is a summer day camp where kids can have fun and enjoy the outdoors. The camp uses the lake for various activities.
