Eagle Heights is a town located in Queensland, Australia. It is part of a larger area called Tamborine Mountain. This beautiful region is found in the south-east part of Queensland.

A Look Back in Time
Eagle Heights has an interesting past. It is home to a very old church.
The Oldest Church
The St Andrew's Wesleyan Church is a special building. It was built way back in 1880. This makes it the oldest church still standing in the Gold Coast hinterland area.
Post Office History
The Eagle Heights Post Office first opened its doors on 1 July 1927. Before that, a smaller "receiving office" was open from 1926. A receiving office is like a mini post office where you can drop off mail.
Becoming Part of Tamborine Mountain
Eagle Heights used to be its own separate suburb. But in 1997, it joined with two other areas. These were North Tamborine and Mount Tamborine. Together, they formed the bigger area we know today as Tamborine Mountain.
