Earvin Ngapeth (born 12 February 1991) is a famous French volleyball player. He is a key member of the French national volleyball team. He currently plays for the Turkish club Fenerbahçe.

Earvin has won many big awards. He was the European Champion in 2015. He also won the FIVB World League twice, in 2015 and 2017. He has been a French Champion and an Italian Champion. Most notably, he is an Olympic Champion from the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics.

About Earvin Ngapeth

Earvin Ngapeth was born on February 12, 1991. His father, Éric, was also a volleyball player. Éric played for France in the 1980s. Earvin's father named him after the famous basketball player Earvin "Magic" Johnson.

Earvin's Volleyball Journey

Playing for Clubs

Earvin Ngapeth started his professional volleyball career in the 2008–09 season. He joined Tours VB in France. He played there for three seasons and helped them win the Pro A League.

In 2011, he moved to Italy to play for Cuneo Piemonte. With this team, he reached the final of the CEV Europe League. After two seasons, he briefly played for Kuzbass Kemerovo in Russia.

Later, he returned to Italy and joined Modena in the Serie A1. This was a very successful time for him. With Modena, he won the Italian Cup in 2015. He also won the Italian Championship, Italian Cup, and Italian Supercup in the 2015-16 season. He won another Italian Supercup in 2016.

After four years with Modena, Earvin moved to Zenit Kazan in Russia. He later returned to Modena and then played for other clubs like Paykan Tehran in Iran and Halkbank in Turkey. He now plays for Fenerbahçe.

Playing for the National Team

Earvin Ngapeth first joined the French national team in 2010. He played in the World Championship that year. He later returned to the team for the European Championship 2011.

In 2014, he played in the World Championship. France finished in 4th place. Earvin was a very important player when France won the FIVB World League in 2015.

On October 18, 2015, Earvin and the French team became European Champions. They beat Slovenia 3–0 in the final match. In 2017, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the FIVB World League. France won the gold medal again that year.

Earvin has also helped France win two Olympic gold medals. They won at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and again at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He is known for his amazing skills on the court.
