East Rockland Key is a small island located in the beautiful Florida Keys. It is part of a long chain of islands in Florida, United States. This key is found about 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Key West, a well-known city at the very end of the Keys.

Getting to East Rockland Key
You can reach East Rockland Key by car. The famous U.S. 1, also known as the Overseas Highway, crosses the edge of the island. This highway is a very long road that connects all the different islands of the Florida Keys.

The Overseas Highway passes over East Rockland Key between mile markers 8 and 9.5. These markers help people know where they are on the long road. The island is located between Boca Chica Key and Big Coppitt Key. East Rockland Key is also directly across the Overseas Highway from another island called Rockland Key.
