Edward Laquan Williams (born November 1, 1964) is an American former professional baseball player. He played as a first baseman and third baseman during his career.

Eddie Williams' Baseball Journey
Starting His Career
Eddie Williams was chosen by the New York Mets in the first round of the 1983 Major League Baseball draft. This happened right after he finished high school at Herbert Hoover High School in San Diego, California. He was a talented player from a young age.
Playing in the Major Leagues
Eddie made his big league debut with the Cleveland Indians on April 18, 1986. He played for several teams in Major League Baseball (MLB) over the years. His last game in MLB was on May 27, 1998, when he was playing for the San Diego Padres.
Playing Baseball Around the World
Besides playing in the United States, Eddie also played baseball in other countries.
- In 1991, he played one season in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) in Japan. He was part of the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks team.
- Later, in 2000, he played one season in South Korea's KBO League. There, he was a player for the Hyundai Unicorns.
