Eden Rebecca Sher (born December 26, 1991) is an American actress. She is well-known for playing Sue Heck in the TV show The Middle. She also voiced the character Star Butterfly in the cartoon series Star vs. the Forces of Evil.
Eden has won an award called the Critics' Choice Television Award. She was also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Eden Sher's Early Life
Eden Sher was born in Los Angeles, California, in the United States. Her mother, who was a school teacher, raised her.
She started acting when she was eight years old. She performed in school plays and local theater shows. She also sang in her elementary school choir. Eden became very interested in acting after she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. This appearance helped her get noticed by TV networks.
Eden Sher's Acting Career
Eden Sher has played many roles in different TV shows. Some of these shows were short-lived, meaning they didn't last very long.
In 2006, she acted in the show Weeds as a character named Gretchen. Later that year, she got a regular role as Carrie Fenton in Sons & Daughters. This show was canceled after only 11 episodes. In 2007, Eden appeared in The O.C., a popular drama series. She also appeared in a short film called Stuck in 2001. You might have also seen her in commercials for brands like Capital One and Fruity Pebbles.
Starring in The Middle
Eden got a big break when she landed the role of Sue Heck in the ABC comedy series The Middle. This was a main role that lasted for a long time.
From 2009 to 2018, Eden Sher starred as Sue Heck. Sue was a unique and very hopeful teenager. For her role in The Middle, Eden won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2013.
After The Middle ended, there was talk about making a new show just about Sue Heck. This new show was going to be called Sue Sue In The City at one point. However, the TV network decided not to go forward with the spin-off series.
Since 2023, Eden has been performing a one-woman show. It's called "I Was In A Sitcom." In this show, she talks about her time on The Middle and how it changed her life.
Voice Acting and Other Roles
Besides The Middle, Eden Sher is also famous for her voice work. From 2015 to 2019, she was the voice of Star Butterfly. This was for the animated Disney series Star vs. the Forces of Evil.
She has also appeared in other TV shows. These include Jane the Virgin in 2019, Lopez vs Lopez in 2023, and How I Met Your Father in 2023. In movies, she had main roles in The Outcasts (2017) and Step Sisters (2018).
Eden Sher's Personal Life
In March 2019, Eden Sher announced that she was engaged to screenwriter Nick Cron-Devico. They got married on July 12, 2020.
In 2021, Eden shared that she and Nick were expecting twins. Their twin daughters were born later that same year.
