Atticus Shaffer (born June 19, 1998) is an American actor and YouTuber. He is best known for playing Brick Heck on the TV show The Middle. He also lent his voice to characters like Edgar in the movie Frankenweenie and Ono in the Disney Junior series The Lion Guard.

Acting Career
Starring in The Middle
Atticus Shaffer is most famous for his role as Brick Heck in the TV show The Middle. He played this character for all nine seasons, from 2009 to 2018.
Brick is the youngest of three children in the Heck family. He is very smart and loves to read. He also has a special interest in different fonts. Brick is a bit shy and sometimes feels overlooked by his family.
Atticus once shared that he is a lot like Brick in real life. He also loves to read and gets excited about unusual things. Brick's unique way of repeating words at the end of sentences was inspired by the son of one of the show's creators.
Voice Acting Roles
Besides The Middle, Atticus Shaffer has done a lot of voice acting. He voiced Edgar in the 2012 movie Frankenweenie. He also voiced Ono in the popular Disney Junior show The Lion Guard from 2016 to 2019.

Atticus is a Christian. He has shared that he enjoys daily Bible study with his mother. He was baptized in 2015 and enjoys contemporary Christian rock music.
