Edison is a small village located in Morrow County, Ohio, United States. In 2020, about 422 people lived there. Edison is right next to Mount Gilead, Ohio, which is the main town of Morrow County.

History of Edison
Edison has had a few different names over the years. It was first known as Gilead Station. Later, its name changed to Levering. The village got its current name, Edison, to honor the famous American inventor Thomas Alva Edison.
A post office was first opened in Gilead Station in 1874. Then, in 1881, the name of the post office and the village officially changed to Edison.

Edison is considered part of the larger Central Ohio region. This means it's in the middle section of the state.
