A road called Texas State Highway 194 goes right through the town. This highway connects Edmonson to other nearby places. If you go southeast about 13 miles, you'll reach Plainview. Plainview is the main city, or county seat, of Hale County. If you travel northwest about 30 miles, you'll get to Dimmitt.
