Elena Cué, born in 1972, is a Spanish businesswoman, art expert, and writer. She studied Philosophy and Gemology (the study of gemstones). Elena writes articles and interviews famous artists for the Spanish newspaper ABC and the US version of the Huffington Post.
She is also the president of the Alberto and Elena Cortina Foundation. This foundation helps people in need. Elena runs the foundation with her husband, Alberto Cortina. In 1997, she won the Spanish shooting championship and was second in the European championship.

Elena Cué's Work in Art
Elena created a website called Alejandra de Argos. On this site, she writes about art and shares interviews with famous artists. Some of the artists she has interviewed include Jeff Koons, Fernando Botero, and Cai Guo-Qiang. She also interviewed Mario Vargas Llosa, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature.
Besides her website, Elena writes for the Spanish newspaper ABC and the US edition of the Huffington Post. In November 2015, Elena joined the board of the Museo Reina Sofía foundation. In June 2016, she joined the board of the ABC Museum in Madrid. Elena is also a member of Vivre en couleur for the Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain.

Helping Others: The Alberto and Elena Cortina Foundation
In 2011, Elena Cué and Alberto Cortina started the Alberto and Elena Cortina Foundation. Their goal was to help people and projects that focus on charity and education. They especially wanted to help children.
The foundation began several projects at once. In 2011, it helped people affected by the 2010 Haiti earthquake. They provided food and helped rebuild homes and other buildings. The foundation also helps women who are at risk of Social exclusion. They offer free housing and run a soup kitchen.
In 2012, the foundation started the "invisible kitchen" service. Through this service, food and other basic items are delivered to families in need at their homes. Another project by Elena's foundation is "Econosolidario." This is a special grocery store in Spain. Families chosen by social services can use a card with points to "buy" the basic products they need.
Elena Cué's Family Life
Elena Cué began a relationship with businessman Alberto Cortina in 1997. They got married in 2000 at Cortina's estate called "Las Cuevas." In 2006, their daughter, Alejandra Cortina Cué, was born.
