About Emanne Beasha
Emanne Beasha was born in Amman, Jordan. Her father is Jordanian, and her mother is American. Emanne started singing opera in Italian when she was six years old. Her parents noticed her amazing singing talent when she was only two years old.
Early Success
In 2017, when Emanne was eight, she tried out for Season 5 of Arabs Got Talent. The judges were so impressed that she received the Golden Buzzer. This meant she went straight to the live shows. On May 20, she won the final competition. She sang a beautiful version of "Time to Say Goodbye". Emanne received $130,000 as her prize money.
Royal Recognition
After winning Arabs Got Talent, Emanne received a special award. King Abdullah II of Jordan gave her the King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein Medal of Merit (Gold). This happened during the Independence Day celebrations on May 25, 2017. Emanne was the youngest person ever to receive this important medal.
America's Got Talent Journey
In 2019, Emanne auditioned for Season 14 of America's Got Talent. She sang the famous opera song "Nessun Dorma". All four judges said yes, and she moved on to the Judge Cuts round.
Golden Buzzer Moment
On August 6, 2019, Emanne appeared on the Judge Cuts episode. The guest judge was Jay Leno. She performed "Caruso", an opera-style song by Lucio Dalla. Jay Leno was so amazed that he gave her his Golden Buzzer. This made Emanne the only person to get a Golden Buzzer in two different "Got Talent" shows around the world. This special moment sent her straight to the live quarter-finals.
Advancing to the Finals
On August 27, 2019, Emanne sang "Ebben? Ne andrò lontana" from the opera La Wally. This was for the quarter-finals of America's Got Talent. After the audience voted, Emanne moved on to the semifinals. In the semifinals, she sang an Italian version of "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" by Bryan Adams. The judges loved her performance. She then advanced to the finals through the Judges' Choice.
Final Performance
In the finals, Emanne sang "La mamma morta" from the opera Andrea Chénier. On the night the results were announced, she performed "Time to Say Goodbye" with pianist Lang Lang. Emanne finished in ninth place overall.
Recent Activities
Emanne was scheduled to join André Rieu on his world tour in North America. She performed in Tampa on March 11, 2020. However, the rest of the tour was canceled or postponed. This was due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
