Emigrant Peak is a tall and famous mountain in Montana. It stands at about 10,926 feet (3,330 m) high! This amazing peak is located on the western side of the Absaroka Range, close to a small town called Emigrant, Montana.

You can easily see Emigrant Peak from Paradise Valley, Montana. It's also visible if you're driving on U.S. Route 89 towards the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park at Gardiner, Montana.

About Emigrant Peak

Emigrant Peak is a very noticeable mountain. It's part of the huge Absaroka Range, which stretches across Montana and Wyoming. The mountain has two main sides: Emigrant Gulch to the north and Sixmile Creek to the south.
