Emma Matilda Lake is a beautiful natural lake located in Grand Teton National Park. This park is found in the state of Wyoming, United States. The lake is named after Emma Matilda Owen. She was the wife of William O. Owen, a famous climber. William Owen was one of the first four people to reach the top of Grand Teton mountain in 1898.

There is a special path called the Emma Matilda Lake Trail. This trail goes all the way around the lake. It is about 10.7-mile (17.2 km) (17.2 kilometers) long. As you walk, you can see amazing distant views of the Teton Range. The Teton Range is a famous mountain range known for its tall, jagged peaks.
