Emmanuel Ellerbee (born November 20, 1996) is an American football linebacker. He played college football for Rice University. After college, he joined the Atlanta Falcons in 2018.

Early Life and High School Football
Emmanuel Ellerbee grew up in Houston, Texas. He went to high school at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. While there, he was a star linebacker for the football team.
He earned honors like second-team All-District and honorable mention All-State. This meant he was one of the best players in his area and state. Many colleges wanted him to play for them. He chose to play football at Rice University.
College Football Career at Rice
Ellerbee played football for the Rice Owls for four seasons. He was a very strong player on defense. During his time at Rice, he made 273 tackles. He also had 16.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. These are plays where a defensive player stops the offense behind the line of scrimmage.
He was recognized as one of the best players in his conference. He was named first-team All-Conference USA in both his junior and senior years. This is a big honor for college football players.
Professional Football Journey
