Erin Molan was born in Canberra, Australia. She spent some of her childhood growing up in Jakarta, Indonesia. Because her father, Jim Molan, was in the Australian Army, her family moved often. This meant Erin attended sixteen different schools as a child.

Joining the Footy Shows
In 2012, Erin became a regular on The NRL Footy Show. She often appeared in a segment called "League of their Own" and worked as a roving reporter. Personal Life
In April 2017, Erin Molan announced that she was engaged to Sean Ogilvy, who is a policeman. Their daughter was born in 2018. Three years later, in 2021, Erin shared that her relationship with Sean Ogilvy had ended.
