Erin Molan is famous for her work covering the National Rugby League (NRL) for Nine's Wide World of Sports. She also hosted the Australian Open tennis tournament on channel 9Gem. Erin Molan was born in Canberra, Australia. She spent some of her childhood growing up in Jakarta, Indonesia. Because her father, Jim Molan, was in the Australian Army, her family moved often. This meant Erin attended sixteen different schools as a child.
Television Career Highlights
Erin Molan started her career in media at a local community television station in Canberra. She then got a job as a reporter and presenter at WIN Television. In 2010, she moved to Sydney to work for the Nine Network.
Joining the Footy Shows
In 2012, Erin became a regular on The NRL Footy Show. She often appeared in a segment called "League of their Own" and worked as a roving reporter. By 2014, she became a permanent co-host of the show. She worked alongside famous sports personalities like Paul Vautin, Darryl Brohman, Beau Ryan, and Michael Slater.

In December 2021, Erin Molan left the Nine Network. She then joined Sky News Australia as a contributor for their primetime shows. In February 2025, Molan became the host of 69 X Minutes, a news show funded by Elon Musk that airs on Twitter.
Personal Life
In April 2017, Erin Molan announced that she was engaged to Sean Ogilvy, who is a policeman. Their daughter was born in 2018. Three years later, in 2021, Erin shared that her relationship with Sean Ogilvy had ended.
Erin Molan is a Roman Catholic.
