Erith is a small place, also known as a locality, located in South Australia. You can find it on the northern part of the Adelaide Plains, which is a flat area of land. It's also part of a larger area called the Mid North.
If you were driving, Erith is on a road that goes northwest. This road connects Owen to other towns like Bowmans and Port Wakefield.
A Look Back in Time
Even though Erith is a small locality today, it once had its own school!
Erith Primary School
The Erith primary school first opened its doors in the year 1877. This means many children from the area would have gone there to learn. However, the school eventually closed down. It stopped operating sometime after 1949.
