Estinnes is a municipality in Belgium. It is located in the Wallonia region. This area is part of the Hainaut province. The name Estinnes comes from its French pronunciation (ɛstin). It is also known as L' Estene in Picard, a local language.
As of January 1, 2006, Estinnes had about 7,413 people living there. The total area of the municipality is about 72.73 square kilometers. This means there are about 102 people living in each square kilometer.

Estinnes has an important place in history. On March 1, 744, a special meeting happened here. It was called the Council of Estinnes. This was a reform council. It was organized by Saint Boniface.
