Eugene Washington was born in Hammersmith, London, England. He later studied acting at The Academy Drama School in London, graduating in 2001.
Acting Career
Eugene Washington has had a busy career, performing both on stage and in television shows.
On Stage
In 2010, Eugene played the main character in William Shakespeare's famous play Othello. This was a big role, and he performed it during a 9-month world tour. He traveled to many countries, including Israel, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and China.
He also played Henry Angell in Agatha Christie's play The Unexpected Guest. This was a special role because Eugene was the first Black actor to star in a professional Agatha Christie play in the UK. He performed alongside actors like Simon MacCorkindale from Casualty and Dean Gaffney from EastEnders.
Eugene also worked with The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, where he played Dog Fox in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He was also part of the first-ever performance of Paul, a play by Howard Brenton, at the Royal National Theatre.

Eugene Washington has appeared in several well-known TV shows. He played Mr. Wagner, a creepy alien teacher, in a 2006 episode of Doctor Who called "School Reunion".
