Eva Maria LaRue, born on December 27, 1966, is an American actress and model. She is well-known for her roles as Maria Santos on the TV show All My Children and as Detective Natalia Boa Vista on CSI: Miami.

Early Life and Beginnings
Eva LaRue was born in Long Beach, California. Her parents are Marcie and Luis LaRue. She has three siblings: two sisters named Nika and Lara, and a brother named Luis Jr. Eva is a member of the Baháʼí Faith.
Eva started acting when she was just six years old. As a teenager, she became a beauty queen. In 1984, she won the Miss California Empire title. She finished high school in 1985, graduating from Norco High School.
Her Career Journey
After high school, Eva LaRue began her career in modeling. She worked with different agencies and even appeared in commercials for fitness workouts and makeup. She has been on the cover of many magazines, including LA Direct, Vivmag, Orange Coast, and Latina.
Acting Roles on TV
Eva LaRue was a co-host and announcer for the show Candid Camera from 1991 to 1992.
One of her most famous roles was Dr. Maria Santos Grey on the soap opera All My Children. She played this character from 1993 to 1997, and then again from 2002 to 2005. Her character, Maria, was part of a very popular couple on the show with the character Edmund. Eva was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her acting on All My Children. She was also nominated for an award in 2004 for writing a song called "Dance Again with You," which was used in a romantic scene on the show. In 2010, she returned to All My Children for its 40th anniversary. She also made guest appearances in 2011 as the show ended its run on ABC.
In 2005, Eva played Linda Lorenzo, a "long lost" sister, on the TV comedy George Lopez. Later that year, she started her role as Natalia Boa Vista on CSI: Miami. Her character was first a recurring guest, but by season five, Eva became a main cast member. She stayed on the show until 2012.
Eva has also appeared in several TV movies. She played Annette Funicello in a movie about the former Mouseketeer. She also appeared in an adaptation of Danielle Steel's Remembrance. In 2013, she played Agent Tanya Mays in an episode of Criminal Minds.
In 2015, it was announced that Eva LaRue would join Fuller House, which is a new version of the popular sitcom Full House. She played Teri Tanner, the kind wife of Danny Tanner. The show started on Netflix in 2016. She also appeared in Mack & Moxy. In 2019, she joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Celeste Rosales.
More recently, in February 2024, Eva LaRue was cast as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez on General Hospital. She first appeared on the show on February 26, 2024. It was announced in June 2025 that she would be leaving the role, with her last episode airing on July 2, 2025.
Personal Life
Eva LaRue's sister, Nika, had a difficult experience with a dangerous person who took her photograph. This real-life event was used as a storyline in an episode of CSI: Miami called "Darkroom." Nika even appeared in the episode as a reporter.
Eva LaRue has been married three times. She was married to actor John O'Hurley for two years until 1994. In November 1996, she married her All My Children co-star, John Callahan. They divorced in 2005. Together, they co-hosted the 1997 Miss America pageant. Eva and John Callahan have a daughter named Kaya McKenna Callahan, who was born in December 2001.
Eva married businessman Joe Cappucio in June 2010. They divorced in 2015.
