Football Club Alga Bishkek is a professional football team from Kyrgyzstan. They are based in Bishkek, the capital city. The club plays in the Kyrgyz Premier League, which is the top football league in Kyrgyzstan. Their home games are played at Dynamo Stadion.
History of Alga Bishkek
Alga Bishkek started way back in 1947. Back then, Bishkek was called Frunze, and the club was known as FC Zenit Frunze. Over the years, the club changed its name many times. Some of their past names include FC Spartak Frunze and FC Alga Frunze.
In 2005, the club, then called FC SKA-Shoro Bishkek, stopped playing for a while. They tried to restart in 2007 as FC Aviator AAL Bishkek, but that didn't last long. Finally, in 2010, the club was reformed and went back to its well-known name, FC Alga Bishkek. They have been playing under this name ever since.
