The Falls of Dochart are a beautiful series of waterfalls found on the River Dochart. They are located in the village of Killin, in Stirling, Scotland. This area used to be part of Perthshire. The falls are very close to the western end of Loch Tay.

A special bridge called the Bridge of Dochart crosses the river right at Killin. This bridge was first built a long time ago, in 1760. From the bridge, you get an amazing view of the waterfalls. You can watch the water crash over the rocks and flow around a small island in the river.

That small island you see from the bridge is called Inchbuie. It's a very old and important place. For hundreds of years, Inchbuie has been the traditional burial ground for the Clan Macnab. The MacNabs are a famous Scottish clan, or family, with a long history.

The Falls of Dochart and the land around them are part of a very special area. This area belongs to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. National Parks are places where nature is protected so that everyone can enjoy its beauty and wildlife for many years to come.
