Farnham is a small village located in Erie County, New York, United States. It is part of the town of Brant. In 2020, the village had a population of 381 people. Farnham is also part of the larger Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village was named after Leroy Farnham, who was an important landowner and merchant in the area.
Farnham is found in the western part of the town of Brant. It is located north of the Cattaraugus Reservation and southeast of Evangola State Park.

History of Farnham Village
The Village of Farnham officially became a village in 1892. It grew and developed around the Lake Shore Railroad. This railroad was very important for transportation and trade in the late 1800s.
Geography and Location
Farnham is located at coordinates 42°35′30″N 79°5′7″W / 42.59167°N 79.08528°W.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village covers a total area of about 1.2 square miles (3.1 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
Farnham is an important crossroads. It is where New York State Route 5 and New York State Route 249 meet.
