Nur Fazura Sharifuddin (born September 27, 1983), known simply as Fazura, is a famous Malaysian actress, singer, model, and TV host. She started her career in entertainment by hosting a TV show and acting in small roles.

In 2004, she got her first main role in the film Bicara Hati, which earned her an award nomination. The next year, she starred in the popular movie Gol & Gincu. By 2010, Fazura had appeared in many films and TV series, and hosted several TV programs, becoming a well-known face in Malaysia.

Her Early Life and Education

Fazura was born in Pekan, a town in the state of Pahang, Malaysia. She is the third of four children and has three brothers. Her father passed away in 2000.

She briefly studied fashion design but decided to pursue acting instead. A film producer-director named Datin Rosnani Jamil discovered her and gave her a big chance in the movie Qaisy & Laila.

Becoming a Star

Fazura's career really took off in 2007. She played the main character in the film Kayangan and acted in two TV dramas, Datin Diaries and Kasih Suci. She also became a VJ (video jockey) for MTV Asia, hosting shows like MTV Jus and MTV Pop Inc.

In 2008, Fazura starred in the film Selamat Pagi Cinta. She also played the main role in the hit TV series Ezora, which was very popular.

Big Movies and New Ventures

In 2009, Fazura starred in the successful film Pisau Cukur alongside Maya Karin. They played best friends on a luxury cruise ship. This movie was a big hit at the box office.

In 2012, Fazura opened her own fashion boutique called House Of Doll in Kuala Lumpur.

She returned to films in 2014 with the horror-comedy "Kami Histeria" and the drama "Tembus". Later that year, she starred in "Manisnya Cinta Di Cappadocia", for which she won the Best Actress Award at the 27th Malaysia Film Festival. Fazura also released her first song, "Sayangi Dirimu", and had her own reality TV show called "Facing Up to Fazura" on E! News Asia.

In 2015, Fazura launched her own line of body mist sprays under her brand "Mystical by Fazura". She also released a new song called "Bangun". She planned to release a mini-album with seven songs.

Fazura performed live at Hard Rock Cafe, Melaka, with her band "The Wak Lu's". She also worked with the rock band Estranged on a song called "Hancur Aku". Their music video has been viewed millions of times online.

Her film Langit Cinta was released in 2016. She also acted in the Indonesian film Bulan Terbelah Di Langit Amerika. Fazura has continued to work on film projects in both Malaysia and Indonesia.
