Ferlyn Gilleen Wong Jing Ling, known as Ferlyn G, is a talented singer, actress, dancer, and model from Singapore. She became well-known as a member of the K-pop girl group Skarf from 2012 to 2014.
After leaving Skarf, Ferlyn G started her solo music career. She released her first mini-album, called First, in 2015. She also began acting in movies and TV shows. Some of her acting roles include the comedy-horror film When Ghost Meets Zombie and TV dramas like Kin and Emerald Hill - The Little Nyonya Story.

Early Life and Training
Ferlyn G was born on February 1, 1992. She is the younger child in her family. Before she joined a K-pop group, she trained at a music company called Ocean Butterflies International. There, she worked as a backup dancer for famous singers like JJ Lin, Rainie Yang, and Wang Lee Hom.
Ferlyn G was also studying business at Temasek Polytechnic. However, she stopped her studies when she was accepted into a South Korean K-pop girl group. She then moved to South Korea to get ready for her big debut.
Music Career Highlights
Becoming a K-pop Star: Skarf (2012–2014)
Ferlyn G passed an audition held by JYP & Alpha Entertainment. She then joined a four-member girl group called Skarf. Another member, Tasha, was also from Singapore, and two other members were Korean.
Skarf officially started their music journey with the song "Oh! Dance". They performed it on a TV show called Music Bank on August 17, 2012. Ferlyn G and the other Skarf members also made a short appearance in a Singaporean TV series, It Takes Two.
The group released their first mini-album, Luv Virus, on May 28, 2013.
Solo Music and New Beginnings (2014–2015)
On September 16, 2014, it was announced that Ferlyn G would be leaving Skarf. She planned to release her own solo mini-album in Mandarin in 2015.
Her debut solo mini-album, First, came out on January 2, 2015. This album included two Mandarin songs and one Korean song. The Korean song, "Luv Talk," featured Mint from the group Tiny-G. Ferlyn G held a special event in Singapore to celebrate her album release. She also promoted her music in other countries like Korea, China, and Malaysia.
In 2015, Ferlyn G left Alpha Entertainment. She then helped start her own independent music company called GIF Music. On November 17, 2015, she released a hip-hop song in English called "Gif To You." She wrote this song herself.
Acting Career (2019–Present)
In 2018, Ferlyn G was chosen for a main role in a horror-comedy film called When Ghost Meets Zombie. She starred alongside singer Nathan Hartono. The movie was released on February 14, 2019. The main song for the film, "等," was released on January 25, 2019. She also released another song for the film called "匆匆."
In 2025, Ferlyn G took on two different roles in a TV drama called Emerald Hill - The Little Nyonya Story. She played both Zhang An Ya and Zhou Hong Yu in the show.
