Fifi Abdou (Arabic: فيفي عبده, born Atiyat Abdul Fattah Ibrahim) is a famous Egyptian belly dancer and actress. She is well-known for her energetic dance performances and has also starred in many films and TV shows. Many people think of her when they hear about belly dancing from her performing years.

Early Life and Dance Career
Fifi Abdou was born as Atiyat Abdul Fattah Ibrahim in Cairo, Egypt, on April 26, 1953. Her father was a policeman, and she grew up with 11 brothers and sisters. Her brother, Abdelraheem Abdul Fattah Ibrahim, was very supportive of her career.
When she was 12 years old, Fifi joined a baladi dance group. Later, she also worked as a model. She started to become famous in the early 1970s. She was the main performer at a place called the Arizona. Over the years, she danced at many other well-known venues. These included Le Meridien, Mena House, and the El Gezira Sheraton.
Her dance shows often lasted about two hours. She was known for her amazing costumes. In 2004, it was reported that she owned about 5,000 costumes. Some of her most expensive outfits were valued at $40,000. Besides dancing, her performances sometimes included fun circus tricks.
Acting in Films and TV
In the 1980s, Fifi Abdou started acting in Egyptian films. This gave her the chance to appear in movies with big stars in the early 1990s. She acted alongside famous actors like Salah Zulfikar, Ahmed Zaki, and Yousra.
In more recent years, she has become a star in several TV shows. These shows are very popular and are broadcast across the Arab world during Ramadan. For example, in 2006, she played the main role in Souq El Khudar, which means The Greenmarket. In this show, she played a strong marketwoman. She also acted in a TV series for Ramadan 2014 with her brother Abdelraheem. In 2019, she starred in the Ramadan series Kingdom of Gypsies.

Fifi Abdou has a family, including two daughters and an adopted daughter. One of her daughters, Azza Mujahid, is also an actress. Azza has a daughter named Quisha Mujahid.
Fifi Abdou is known for being one of the wealthiest women in Egypt. She is also famous for her generous donations to help people in need in Cairo. She often gives money to the poor.
