Christopher Saint Victor (born November 16, 1995), known by his stage name Flipp Dinero, is an American rapper. He comes from Brooklyn, New York City. He is most famous for his 2018 song "Leave Me Alone." This song was a massive success, selling over four million copies! It also reached number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The song became super popular online. This happened after football player Odell Beckham Jr. and NBA player Jordan Bell danced to it. They both shared videos on Instagram, which made the song go viral.

Another rapper from Brooklyn, Joey Badass, first discovered Flipp Dinero. This led Flipp Dinero to sign with Cinematic Music Group in May 2016. Two years later, in August 2018, he also signed with DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group. This group is part of Epic Records. They helped re-release "Leave Me Alone" as a single. The song was the main single for his first album, Love for Guala, which came out in 2019.

About Flipp Dinero's Early Life

Flipp Dinero's Music Career

Flipp Dinero started his music journey in 2016. His brother, Lows, who is a sound engineer, helped him a lot. Lows helped promote Flipp's music. He also connected him with other artists.

During this time, Joey Badass, another rapper from Brooklyn, noticed Flipp Dinero. Joey Badass liked Flipp's songs "Smoke2This" and "I Do." Flipp Dinero then signed with Cinematic Music Group in the summer of 2016. Later, he also signed with DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group. This group is part of Epic Records. Flipp Dinero's music mixes R&B and gospel singing with rapping. He also includes hip-hop and trap music styles.

How "Leave Me Alone" Became a Hit

In 2017, Flipp Dinero's songs were featured five times on Spotify's 'Most Necessary' playlist. This is a very popular hip-hop playlist. Later in 2017, Flipp performed his song "I Do" on Complex. This led to his first extended play (EP) called The Guala Way. It was released in June 2017. By the end of that year, it had been streamed over 2 million times on Spotify.

With his brother's help, Flipp Dinero recorded "Leave Me Alone" in 2018. He wrote the song about his problems with a woman who wouldn't leave him alone. In 2018, the song started playing on many radio stations. This happened after Cleveland Browns' NFL football player, Odell Beckham Jr., posted a video of himself dancing to the song on Instagram.

Months later, Canadian rapper Drake shared "Leave Me Alone" on his Instagram Story. He said the song inspired him while he was making his album, Scorpion. "Leave Me Alone" was certified platinum on January 15, 2019. This means it sold over one million copies. Later, on May 23, 2019, it became double-platinum.
