Fonzworth Bentley, whose real name is Derek Watkins, is an American artist born on February 13, 1974, in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a talented rapper, actor, TV host, and author. Many people first knew him as the personal assistant to famous music producer Sean Combs, especially from the TV show Making the Band 2. He also hosted the popular MTV show From G's to Gents.

Music and Entertainment Career
Fonzworth Bentley started his music journey by rapping on Da Band's album Too Hot for TV in 2002. He was featured on a song called "Cheers to Me, Mr. Bentley (Interlude)." In 2003, he appeared in a skit on OutKast's album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.
Working with Kanye West
In 2004, Bentley made a quick appearance in the music video for Kanye West's song "The New Workout Plan." He also helped write several songs on Kanye West's album Yeezus, including “On Sight,” “Black Skinhead,” “I Am a God,” and “Hold My Liquor.” Bentley also helped produce West's song “Ultralight Beam.”
Solo Music and Other Projects
His first album, titled C.O.L.O.U.R.S., was released online in 2011. Bentley also played the violin in the "Yes We Can" music video. This video was made to support Barack Obama's presidential campaign in 2008.

From 2008 to 2009, he hosted the MTV reality show From G's to Gents. This show helped young men learn about manners and style.
Writing a Book
In 2007, Bentley wrote an etiquette book called Advance Your Swagger: How to Use Manners, Confidence and Style to Get Ahead. This book teaches people how to improve their manners and confidence.
