Forada's Story: A Look Back
Forada was officially planned and mapped out in 1903. It was named after Ada Campbell, who was the wife of the person who founded the town.
A post office opened in Forada in 1904. It helped people send and receive mail for many years. The post office closed its doors in 1954.
On May 30, 2022, a strong tornado hit the town. It was an EF2 tornado, which means it was quite powerful. The tornado caused damage to several homes and businesses in Forada.
