Between Fréscano and another town called Mallén, there is an important archaeological site. This site shows signs of an ancient civilization from the Iron Age.
Archaeologists have found evidence of the Urnfield culture here. This culture is known for burying the ashes of their dead in special pots, or urns, in large fields.
