Francisco Cáceres is a famous TV journalist and producer. He has won three Emmy Awards for his work! Today, he hosts a national morning show called Un Nuevo Día on Telemundo. He also helps out on popular shows like NBC's The Today Show and Access Hollywood.

Early Life and Education

Francisco Cáceres grew up in Santa Ana, El Salvador. When he was 18, he moved to San Salvador. There, he went to Central American University (UCA). He studied Communications and graduated with top honors. This means he was the best student in his class!

In 2009, Francisco moved to Madrid, Spain. He earned a master's degree in Filmmaking from Madrid Film School. Later, he studied at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He earned another master's degree there. Francisco can speak three languages: Spanish, English, and French.

His Career in Television

Francisco started his TV career when he was 20 years old. This was in El Salvador. He hosted and produced many TV and radio shows. One popular show was Ticket con Francisco Cáceres. This was his own weekly movie show. It started on Telecorporación Salvadoreña and grew very popular. It even played in Cinemark movie theaters across Central America and Colombia.

Working at Telemundo

In 2013, Francisco moved to Miami. He began working at Telemundo as their Film Expert. That same year, he started hosting a movie review show called OnCINEMA. This show aired in 13 countries in South America on DirecTV Latin America. He also became the main anchor for Fandango Cine. This is the Spanish version of the well-known movie ticket website, Fandango.com.

Covering Big Events

As a correspondent, Francisco has reported from many major events. He has covered the Academy Awards (the Oscars) and the Grammys. He also reported from the Latin Grammys. He attended famous film festivals like Cannes, Sundance, and Toronto.

He has interviewed many famous people. These include George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Bono, and Madonna. He also spoke with Woody Allen, Penélope Cruz, and Jennifer López. He even interviewed popular music groups like Café Tacvba and Calle 13. Francisco is a member of the Critics Choice Association. This group gives out the Critics Choice Awards each year.
