Fraser Aird (born 2 February 1995) is a Canadian professional soccer player. He plays as a midfielder for Cavalry FC. Fraser has also played for the Canada national team.

Fraser's Early Life and Soccer Start
Fraser Aird was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His parents are from Scotland. They moved to Canada in 1987. Fraser grew up loving the soccer club Rangers, which was his parents' favorite team.
When he was sixteen, Fraser signed with the Rangers youth team. In just one year, he moved up from the under-17 squad to the under-19 squad. This showed how talented he was!
Fraser's Club Career
Playing in Scotland

Fraser made his first team debut for Rangers on 23 September 2012. This was during a big 4–1 win against Montrose. He scored his first goal for the club on 29 December 2012 against Queens Park.
In the 2013–14 season, Fraser scored the first goal for Rangers in a League Cup match. On 3 May 2014, Rangers made history. They became the first Rangers team in 115 years to finish a league season without losing a single game. Fraser was part of this amazing team! They won the Scottish League One Championship that year.
On 29 January 2016, Fraser joined Major League Soccer club Vancouver Whitecaps FC. He played for them on a loan for the season. He made his first appearance for them on 7 March 2016.
Fraser then signed with Falkirk on 18 January 2017. He played for them until the end of the season. He scored his first goal for Falkirk on 11 March 2017 in a 4–1 win. After his contract ended, he left the club in May 2017.
On 3 August 2017, Fraser signed a one-year deal with Dunfermline Athletic. He then joined Dundee United on 1 June 2018. He signed a two-year contract with them. He later left Dundee United on 2 September 2019.
Fraser was loaned to Queen of the South on 31 January 2019. He played for them until 31 May 2019. On 26 September 2019, he signed with Cove Rangers. He left Cove Rangers in January 2020 after an incident during a football match.
Playing in Canada
Fraser joined Valour FC in the Canadian Premier League on 24 January 2020. He played his first game for Valour on 16 August. He scored his first goal for Valour on 19 August, which was a penalty kick.
On 24 December 2020, Fraser signed with FC Edmonton. He played for them during the 2021 season.
On 9 February 2022, Fraser signed a two-year contract with Cavalry FC. He started the season playing in every game. However, he got a serious knee injury (ACL injury) in his fifth match. Fraser signed another two-year contract with Cavalry FC in December 2023. He continues to play for them.
Fraser's International Career
Fraser has played for both Canada and Scotland at different levels. In 2010, he was part of a Canadian under-15 training camp. He played in a friendly game against the USA that same year.
After moving to Scotland, he played for Scotland's under-17 team in August 2011. He also played in a UEFA competition for Scotland's under-17 team in 2012. In his last under-17 game, he scored a goal against Denmark.
In 2013, Fraser was asked to join the Canada national team for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. However, he chose to play for Scotland under-19's instead. He scored two goals in two friendly games for Scotland under-19.
In 2014, Fraser joined a training camp in Florida with the Canadian Under-20 team. This was to get ready for a big tournament.
On 28 September 2015, Fraser was called up to play for the senior Canada national team. He made his first senior international appearance on 13 October 2015. This was in a 1–1 draw against Ghana. Fraser scored his first goal for Canada on 22 March 2017. This goal was against Scotland, the country of his parents. The game ended in a 1–1 draw.
