Fraser Aird (born on February 2, 1995) is a professional soccer player from Canada. He plays as a midfielder for Cavalry FC. Fraser has also played for the Canadian national soccer team.

Fraser Aird's Early Life
Fraser Aird grew up loving the soccer club Rangers. His parents were from Scotland and supported Rangers. They moved to Canada in 1987.
Fraser Aird's Club Career
Playing for Rangers

Fraser Aird joined Rangers as a young player when he was sixteen. In just one year, he moved up from the under-17 team to the under-19 team. He played his first game for the main team on September 23, 2012. This was during a 4–1 win against Montrose in the Scottish Third Division.
He scored his first goal for the club on December 29, 2012. This goal was against Queens Park at Hampden Park.
In the 2013–14 season, Fraser scored the first goal for Rangers in the League Cup. On May 3, 2014, Rangers made history. They became the first Rangers team in 115 years to finish a league season without losing a single game. They also won the Scottish League One Championship that season.
Loan to Vancouver Whitecaps FC
On January 29, 2016, Fraser Aird joined Major League Soccer club Vancouver Whitecaps FC. He played for them on loan for the whole season. He played his first game for them on March 7, 2016, against Montreal Impact.
Time with Falkirk
Fraser Aird signed with Falkirk on January 18, 2017. This club is in the Scottish Championship. He joined them after ending his contract with Rangers. He played his first game for Falkirk in a 2–0 loss to Greenock Morton. He scored his first goal for Falkirk on March 11, 2017, in a 4–1 win against Ayr United. He left the club in May 2017 when his contract ended.
Playing for Dunfermline Athletic
On August 3, 2017, Fraser Aird signed a one-year contract with Dunfermline Athletic. He had an option to stay for another year.
Joining Dundee United
Fraser Aird signed a two-year contract with Dundee United on June 1, 2018. He left the club on September 2, 2019.
Loan to Queen of the South
On January 31, 2019, Fraser Aird was loaned to Queen of the South. He played for them until May 31, 2019.
Playing for Cove Rangers
Fraser Aird signed with Cove Rangers on September 26, 2019. He left the club before his contract ended. This happened after a picture showed him making a gesture towards fans during a Rangers game.
Time with Valour FC
On January 24, 2020, Fraser Aird joined Valour FC. This club is part of the Canadian Premier League. He played his first game for Valour on August 16, in a 2–0 loss to Cavalry FC. Fraser scored his first goal for Valour in the next game. He scored a penalty against Atlético Ottawa on August 19.
Joining FC Edmonton
Fraser Aird signed with FC Edmonton on December 24, 2020.
Playing for Cavalry FC
On February 9, 2022, Fraser Aird signed a two-year contract with Cavalry FC. He also had an option to play for them in 2024. He started the season playing every minute in Cavalry's midfield. However, he got a serious ACL injury in his fifth game of the season. This injury was against FC Edmonton. Fraser signed a new two-year contract with Cavalry FC in December 2023.
Fraser Aird's International Career
Fraser Aird was part of a Canadian under-15 training camp in 2010. He also played in a friendly game against the US that same year. After moving to Scotland, his parents' home country, he played for Scotland's under-17 team in August 2011. In 2012, he played in a UEFA competition for Scotland. This was during the UEFA Under 17 Championship qualifying games. In his last under-17 game, he scored a goal against Denmark.
Fraser Aird was chosen for the first Canadian national team squad for the 2013 Gold Cup. However, he decided not to join the final squad. Later that year, he played for Scotland's under-19 team. He played two friendly games for Scotland under-19 and scored in a 4–2 win against Switzerland.
In April 2014, it was reported that Fraser Aird would choose to play for Canada. He was expected to join the senior team for friendly games. These games were against Bulgaria and Moldova. But Fraser later said on Twitter that he had not yet decided. In May 2014, he joined a training camp in Florida. This was with the Canadian Under-20 team. They were getting ready for the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
On September 28, 2015, the Rangers website said Fraser Aird was called up by Canada. This was for a friendly game against Ghana in October. Fraser got his first senior international cap in that game. He came on as a substitute in the second half. The game ended in a 1–1 draw on October 13, 2015. Fraser scored his first goal for Canada against Scotland. This was in a 1–1 draw on March 22, 2017.
