Frederika is a city in Bremer County, Iowa, United States. The population was 204 at the time of the 2020 census. It is named for Fredrika Bremer (note different spelling), the Swedish author, for whom the surrounding county was also named.
Frederika is part of the Waterloo–Cedar Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.

2020 census
As of the census of 2020, there were 204 people, 98 households, and 54 families residing in the city. The population density was 556.3 inhabitants per square mile (214.8/km2). There were 113 housing units at an average density of 308.1 per square mile (119.0/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 96.6% White, 0.0% Black or African American, 0.0% Native American, 0.0% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 0.0% from other races and 3.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino persons of any race comprised 1.0% of the population.
Of the 98 households, 23.5% of which had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.9% were married couples living together, 12.2% were cohabitating couples, 22.4% had a female householder with no spouse or partner present and 20.4% had a male householder with no spouse or partner present. 44.9% of all households were non-families. 35.7% of all households were made up of individuals, 16.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years old or older.
The median age in the city was 47.0 years. 22.5% of the residents were under the age of 20; 2.0% were between the ages of 20 and 24; 24.5% were from 25 and 44; 27.0% were from 45 and 64; and 24.0% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 49.5% male and 50.5% female.

As of the census of 2010, there were 183 people, 96 households, and 48 families residing in the city. The population density was 915.0 inhabitants per square mile (353.3/km2). There were 118 housing units at an average density of 590.0 per square mile (227.8/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 98.4% White, 0.5% Native American, and 1.1% Asian.
There were 96 households, of which 12.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.7% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 1.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 50.0% were non-families. 39.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.91 and the average family size was 2.42.
