Freya Mavor is a Scottish actress born on August 13, 1993. She is famous for playing Mini McGuinness in the teen TV show Skins. She also played Daria Greenock in the HBO series Industry.

Freya Mavor was born in Glasgow, Scotland. She grew up in Edinburgh. Her father, James Mavor, is a playwright, which means he writes plays. He teaches screenwriting at Napier University.
Family History in Arts
Freya's family has a strong connection to the arts. Her grandfather, Ronald Bingo Mavor, was a theatre critic. He reviewed plays for The Scotsman newspaper. Later, he became the director of the Scottish Arts Council. Freya's great-grandfather, James Bridie, started a drama college in 1950. This college later became the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Freya's mother is from Ireland and also has some Danish family. Freya has two brothers, Hugo and Alex.
