Friendship is found in the southern part of Hot Spring County. It sits on high ground, about half a mile (0.8 kilometers) north of the Ouachita River.
Roads and Travel
U.S. Route 67 goes right through the middle of Friendship. This road can take you northeast about 16 miles (26 km) to Malvern. Malvern is the main town for the county. If you go southwest on Route 67, you'll reach Arkadelphia in about 10 miles (16 km).
Interstate 30 is another major highway near Friendship. It passes just northwest of the town. You can get onto I-30 from Exit 83. This interstate leads northeast about 60 miles (97 km) to Little Rock, which is the capital city. Going southwest on I-30 will take you about 85 miles (137 km) to Texarkana.
