Amazing Geology of Friendship
Just north of Friendship, you'll find the Friendship Mound. This cool landform is a type of castillated mound. It was shaped by the huge glaciers that covered the area during the last Ice Age.
A few miles further north, there's another interesting mound called Roche-A-Cri. It's located in Roche-A-Cri State Park. This mound is special because it has ancient rock carvings, known as the Roche-a-Cri Petroglyphs.
