You can usually find Frijj in five main flavors: strawberry, chocolate, banana, fudge brownie, and cookie dough. Over the years, there have also been many special, limited edition flavors. Some of these have included custard, caramel, raspberry doughnut, and even Jaffa Cake flavor.
In 1998, a thicker version called 'Frijj Extreme' was introduced. It came in white chocolate and milk chocolate flavors. Frijj is very popular, holding a large share of the fresh flavored milk market. Since late 2015, Frijj has been produced by Müller Milk & Ingredients. This happened after Müller bought the milk business from Dairy Crest.

In 2009, Frijj became the new sponsor of Soccer AM. This is a weekly TV show about football. They signed a £2 million sponsorship deal for this. Frijj also supports a local football team called Epsom Downs FC.
Advertising Fun
When Frijj first launched in 1993, they had TV adverts using stop-motion animation. These adverts featured some funny cows.
In 2008, Frijj launched a new advertising campaign. It included five online videos that made fun of the old 1950s horror movie The Blob. They also put adverts on the sides of buses and released special bottle designs.
In 2011, Frijj released "circus" themed flavors. Each flavor had its own animal mascot on the packaging. These included Magnus Monkee (monkey), Pablo Pooch (dog), Hugo Meeow (tiger), The Great Lazaro (rabbit), and Captain Roary (lion). These animals fit the circus theme.
Thorpe Park Offer
For a short time in 2012, Frijj offered a special deal. If you bought a Frijj milkshake, you could use a code on the bottle to get a free ticket to Thorpe Park. This offer allowed people to win prizes and enjoy a day out. The special offer ended in September 2012.
Understanding Sugar Content
In May 2016, Liverpool City Council started a campaign about sugary drinks. The campaign aimed to help people understand how much sugar is in different beverages. It was called "Is your child’s sweet tooth harming their health?".
The campaign highlighted that some drinks have a lot of sugar. Frijj chocolate milkshake was mentioned as having 50.8 grams of sugar in a 471ml bottle. This information was shared on posters in places like doctors' offices and hospitals. The goal was to help families make informed choices about drinks.
