Fun Dip is a super fun candy that lets you dip a sweet stick into flavored sugar! It's made by the Ferrara Candy Company and has been a favorite treat in the United States and Canada for many years. It's a unique candy because you get to mix and match the flavors as you eat it.
All About Fun Dip
Fun Dip is a popular candy that comes in small pouches. Inside each pouch, you'll find flavored sugar and one or two edible candy sticks. You use the stick to scoop up the colorful, sweet powder. It's a bit like another candy called Pixy Stix, but Fun Dip comes in a pouch instead of a straw.
A Sweet History
Fun Dip has been around for a long time! It first appeared in the 1940s and was originally called Lik-M-Aid. A company named Fruzola first made it. Later, Sunline Inc. took over. In January 1989, Nestlé bought the candy. Then, in 2018, Fun Dip became part of the Ferrero family, along with other Wonka Candy Brands. When it was first called Lik-M-Aid, it only had packets of flavored sugar. The edible candy sticks, called "Lik-A-Stix," were added in the 1970s when the candy was renamed Fun Dip.
Fun Flavors
Fun Dip comes in many exciting flavors! The first flavors were lime, cherry, and grape. Today, you'll most often find cherry, grape, and a cool blue raspberry/apple mix. This special blue flavor even changes to green when it gets wet!
You can also find sour flavors like sour watermelon, sour apple, and sour lemonade. If you like tropical tastes, there are flavors like watermelon sandía, mango, and strawberry fresa. There's even an orange flavor! Around Easter time, you might find a special "Springtime Fun Dip" with watermelon and strawberry flavors.
